Bracket Watch - Friday, February 26th

UPDATE as of 12:08 PM: Fixed a few matchups so as to avoid a Georgetown-Temple or Old Dominion matchup.

A friendly reminder to all who visit that I also have another blog out there. It's called Conference Tournament Central. It's where I update all 31 conference tournaments daily. The blog can be accessed on the right hand side of the page in the college basketball statistics links.

Note: Starting now, the projected winner in some conferences will be the top seed in it's conference tournament.

  1. Just a heads up in terms of bracketing -- in this bracket, Georgetown would be guaranteed a matchup with a team they've already played in the 2nd round, having played both ODU and Temple.

Lunardi actually also put ODU and Georgetown in a potential 2nd round matchup today...

  2. Yeah, I just noticed that too. He also has Duke on a collision course in the 2nd round with Maryland. In fact, I noticed that some of the matchups he has match my projections. I wonder if he's copying my brackets at all?

  3. Howard, Will Oklahoma State make the tournament if they lose the next 2 games?

  4. For the last anoymous,

If I had answered yesterday, I would have said it's a 50-50 chance of it happening, but now with a scalp of Kansas, it's about a 90% chance that the Cowboys make it.
