First off, yes I mistakenly omitted Virginia and included Notre Dame in my first field projection. At least some people noticed.
Now for the fun part, there's acutally going to be some good games for tonight. So I'm opening this Open Court thread early to allow for some conversation. Also, I won't be able to post tomorrow as I'm going to watch Red Bull Crashed Ice down at the Cathedral(which gives you some idea of where I live).

Open Court-January 9th
Welcome to Open Court. The official daily open thread to everything college basketball. I'm launching this tonight as a replacement for Bracketology 101's daily open threads. As you're well aware, Chris and Craig are in a holding pattern(what with both of them having families to care and nourish), so I've taken up the initiative to have an open forum where one can spout off on College Hoops. I'll be be here each morning to share my observations as well. So go ahead and spout off whatever you have on your minds.
NOTE: You can talk about tonight's BCS Championship game. Just as fair to do so.

I'm back!
It turns out we only lost the internet for about 12 hours last Tuesday, so I'll have the first real projections for the season tomorrow.
Also coming soon
Since Bracketology 101 isn't having any new posts soon(But not without reason, both Chris and Craig became fathers recently, which, IMO, is more important than just being bracketologists.), I'll be opening new daily talk threads so you can comment on the games. Look for those to start up tomorrow.
