Important Note for Saturday

As you may already know, I'll be attending the Minnesota State High School Boy's Hockey Championships on Saturday, so if it's possible to do so, I'll have a bracket up early that day. If not, the next projection will be on Sunday morning, with the final one to be revealed after the early games are played.

  1. Hello, Tennessee’s RPI is at 77, the highest RPI to ever make the at-large field is 74. The highest in the last ten years is 68 in 2002. RPI is a great barometer on at-large teams that make the field and the selection committee no longer looks at the last ten games but of all the games and Tennessee has some really bad loses. Why is Tennessee in?

  2. Cmurphy,

Tennessee was my annual "hedge" pick to make the field, and I thought that they could make the final and secure an at-large. However, as they have lost to Mississippi, they have dropped out of my field, most likely for good.
